MEET Phoebe

Phoebe Haney
Phoebe has been around records for as long as she can remember. She told us about her memories of growing up with her dad and how she would sit and listen to records with him and he would tell her stories of the bands or the artist they would be listening to. Records became something her and her dad bonded over and continue to do so today.
After coming to college, Phoebe started her very own collection her sophomore year. Phoebe mentioned that she was able to find an identity through her records and a friendship to the artists that she would discover on her own, without the guidance of her father.

Her (current) favorite album is Romours by Fleetwood Mac but she stated that you can never go wrong with Otis Redding's The Dock of the Bay.
"There’s just something so therapeutic about walking into a record store and flipping through rows of vinyl. You’re alone the records and it’s just all around a calming experience."
